Morgan: Mama, this is my new friend.
Me: Oh, what is your new friend's name?
Morgan: (shrugs) idunno (turns and skips hand and hand with the new friend)
I took Morgs with me to chaperone a dance for one of our adult DD clients tongight. Thankfully there were a few other kids there and Morgs happened to make fast friends with another little girl about her age. I just love how kids can become instant friends, laughing, hugging dancing and holding hands all evening long without the need to bother with somethin so trival as a name, just happy to call each other "friend". I admire trait greatly in children, especially since that has never been my strong suit.
